Top Marques Monaco is gearing up to celebrate its 15th anniversary this spring. Known as “The World’s Most Exclusive Car Show”, it is completely at home in Europe’s capital of luxury and will take place in Monaco’s famous Grimaldi Forum from April 19th - 22nd. For car enthusiasts around the globe, this is one event you will not want to miss and it is the perfect time to organise a luxury car rental in Monaco.
Following hot on the heels of the prestigious Geneva Motor Show, Top Marques Monaco has established itself as a premier supercar exhibition. However, it features so much more than cars. Numerous aspects of the luxury sector will be represented with real estate, interior décor and yachts will be on display, and new state-of-the-art technologies will be launched. Luxury Lane, a 5,000m2 area devoted to bespoke luxury goods, is the place to find everything from the latest water toys to rare Gin and Vodka laced with gold.
The event will welcome exhibitors from all corners of the globe including America, the UK, Austria, and Japan. Wave Italy, a leading virtual driving simulator manufacturer, will exhibit one of this year’s star attractions, a handmade Formula 1 simulator. It promises to reproduce the feeling of a real Formula 1 racing car, so it is bound to be a huge hit with Top Marques Monaco’s adrenalin-loving visitors.
Of course, the real focus of the show is the car exhibition and the event has been chosen as the venue for several global premieres. The Austrian company Tushek Supercars will present their hybrid supercar TS 900 H. The incredibly lightweight machine will get a 950hp power aggregate to launch it from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds. It has a staggering top speed of 380 km/h and has the potential to be a real highlight.
The Corbellati Missile promises to be a hypercar to get hyped about. The sleek coupe will make its second appearance after debuting at Geneva and the manufacturer makes the bold claim that it will be 'the fastest hypercar in the world'. It is fitted with a 9.0-litre twin-turbo, quad-cam V8 and packs the power with an alleged 1,800bhp and 2,350Nm of torque. The team at Corbellati have speculated that the car’s aerodynamics are designed to cope with speeds of 500km/h.
Meanwhile, a new brand, BDI, is making its debut at Top Marques with a supercar model named Enigma. The hybrid supercar is being promoted by the brand as a "world-beating supercar with more torque than the Bugatti Chiron". With top speeds of 290 km/h, we’re excited to find out if it lives up to the hype.
Last year, seven world premieres were unveiled in the Ravel Supercar Hall. Exhibitors included Lamborghini, Lotus, Jeep, Lexus and Tesla, along with some innovative concept and modified cars, many of which made their debut at the show. Aeromobil unveiled its flying car that can zoom up to 224 /ph in flight and is priced at around one million pounds. More than 1,200 test drives were performed on Monaco’s legendary F1 street circuit in 2017 and more test drives will be available this year.
Top Marques has tripled in size over the past 15 years and now attracts well over 40,000 visitors each year. His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco has been a patron of the annual car show from the beginning and the organisers have also enjoyed the support of the Government of Monaco, the Monaco Convention Bureau and La Société des Bains de Mer.
Visitors can expect another spectacular edition of the show on its 15th birthday. Ticket information can be found on the Top Marques Monaco website.
