The Cannes Collection 2016 closed its doors on 5th June for the first time, after welcoming excited guests and discerning shoppers since 2nd June. Luxury supercars, motorbikes, helicopters, properties, exclusive travel opportunities, artwork, private jets, yachts, fine watches and jewellery, and all manner of luxury accessories were the subjects of interest, as buyers browsed products and services.
The new event, which was essentially a collection of shopping opportunities for the very wealthy, was organised by Bertrand Foäche and Eric de Saintdo - business partners that boast a wealth of experience in organising large exhibitions. Visitors can attend, browse the extensive range of commodities, purchase and, in some instances, leave with their latest acquisition the very same day. This represents a new breed of exhibition: the desire to experience gratification upon purchase is satiated by the innovative functionality of Cannes Collection. Only the finest, most beautiful, rarest products are exhibited at Cannes Collection.

Visitors had the opportunity to wander from yachts to motorbikes and to cupercars, admiring the latest models that had arrived from near and far. From the luxury automotive world, a long list of illustrious brands were in attendance, displaying the latest luxury vehicles: Aston Martin, Audi, BMW, Ferrari, Jaguar - Land Rover, Koenigsegg, Lamborghini, Lotus - Volvo, Maserati, Mercedes Benz, MS Motors and Tesla. As the go-to name in the luxury supercar rental industry, we are inspired by events such as Cannes Collection; they are a fantastic opportunity to see which new vehicles are on the market, as well asan opportunity to gauge customer interest, meaning we can respond to consumer desires.
Eric de Saintdo, one of the event organisers, looked back on the action: ”we are thrilled with how the four days of Cannes Collection 2016 unfolded. Despite air traffic control and train strikes, and some patchy weather, which didn’t dampen spirits, there has been an overwhelming sense of positivity from all those who took part – both exhibitors and visitors – on the potential for growth with this new concept. The Cannes Collection will always be put together with the buyer in mind, ensuring we keep the quality of brands on show high, not to mention in a combination unlike anything you will find elsewhere.”
